Encore DVDs
Whenever possible each Encore Theatre production is filmed for the record
DVDs are ideal to show family and friends what the Encore Theatre Company has been up to! Video recordings preserved on DVD are a useful aid to actors and actresses to see how a performance looks from the audience's point of view.
Encore shows and plays are photographed with the benefit of broadcast quality TV cameras located in at least three different positions in the auditorium. This technique provides an interesting variety of viewpoints. Microphones are strategically placed to deliver good sound recordings.
In the finished production performers are seen in both close-up and wide views of the stage settings, thereby creating a more entertaining result. The latest digital editing equipment is used to wrap the whole thing together and combine pictures with the final stereo sound track.
